Monday 21st June 2004 saw St Johns Minster in Preston be host to Prestons first Youth Learner Awards (11-25yr).
Preston Learning Together Partnership and the University of Central Lancashire jointly organised a fun packed ceremony to reward community learning achievers and Millennium Volunteers aged 11-25yrs living in the Preston area.
The evening was filled with dance groups, a string quartet and the showpiece, the Millennium Volunteers fashion Show. Guest speakers gave out 10 community learner awards along with Millennium Volunteer certificates.
